Nine of the ten First Division soccer clubs that published a support post on Instagram for the rights of the LGTBIQ+ community lost followers. The journ*list David Saura , ex-responsible for Barça's digital content and co-founder of Xerpa Studio together with Toni Ruiz , discovered it and reported on social networks that FC Barcelona is the club most affected in this regard, with 440,000 fewer followers only on Instagram and in barely 48 hours from the publication of a photo with the rainbow flags in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper . on the occasion of LGTBIQ+ Pride Day.
Barça , with more than 122 million followers on Instagram, went from gaining an average of 30,000 followers per day to losing 306,000 in the first 24 hours after the image. The next day he lost another 134,000 followers.
Of the 10 clubs that supported the LGTBIQ+ collective , only UD Las Palmas increased the number of followers. In number of followers lost, Valencia, Athletic, Real Sociedad, Osasuna, Getafe, Celta, Mallorca and Alavés were the ones that followed Barça in this order.
Large LaLiga clubs, such as Real Madrid or Atlético de Madrid , did not make any posts on Instagram in support of the LGTBIQ+ collective.

IMO the "slippery slope" tendency has more to do with the massive network of activists, fundraisers, media, etc that formed around the gay rights movement over the course of the 30+ years leading up to Obergefell. This is why the whole
s movement feels so artificial and forced: all the resources, organizations, and individuals in these networks suddenly shifted gear once they had attained their political goals vis a vis gay rights.

West is tapped out, there's less than a billion Westerners and not all of them are on the LGBT train, in fact some actively resist getting on! Western International companies need to start looking at non-Mayos for advertising, engagement and revenue streams for numbers. The rest of the World is further right than the average Rightoid Westoid. No, that account's been reported several times. It is part of a group that co-ordinates to target specific moderators and users for harassment, and they rotate through sockpuppet accounts and throwaways in order to maintain activity under the admins' actionable threshold per time period.
They then sell that information about how to circumvent moderation, safety, and security to third parties in order to enable racially motivated violent extremism, ideologically motivated violent extremism, inauthentic engagement, etcetera.
The fact that they're in this thread is a way for them to mock /u/WorstNerd and the reddit security, safety, and anti-evil teams.
Reddit executives have been made aware of the existence of this group repeatedly for the past two years.
If you want to help motivate admins to take them seriously, report the comments instead of replying to them.
