Todays schedule sucked but it gave me an excuse to get back in the fall Saturday routine of grilling and day drinking. The only game I watched was the Notre Dame and I fell asleep before halftime.

Who else is excited for the upcoming season of College football? Hopefully we can have some decent discussions here because I really hate /r/CFB.

Also, is there any way we can organize some goombling for upcoming games this year? Maybe not all of them every week but just a few? I'm willing to commit some effort to it if anyone has ideas.

The Colts fired their head coach Frank Reich two days ago after going 3-5-1. They replaced him with Jeff Saturday as interim head coach. A former player for the team, Jeff Saturday also boasts a two year coaching stint at Hebron Christian Academy, a high school in Georgia.

A reassuring quote from his first press conference:

"My role here is for 8 games. When this is over. They will do an exhaustive search and pick whoever their best candidate is to be the head coach of the Colts. If I'm considered I'd be honored. I have no idea where this thing is gonna go — not even a little bit."

"Here's the deal, man. None of us are promised a good job. I may be terrible at this. And after eight games, I'll say, 'God bless you. I am no good.' I may be really good it? But I dang sure ain't gonna back down."

Journos are of course angry about this due to them not hiring a black coach. Somehow they are jumping to the conclusion he's unfit for the job.

Chief’s super fan, Chiefsaholic, was a regular sight at both home and away games sporting his iconic wolf suit.. So it was a bit odd when he didn’t show up to the past couple games, after tweeting that he would attend the Chiefs Houston matchup, and fans started to get a little worried about their local furry fanatic. In addition to no showing at games, he also stopped posting/thirsting after thots on Twitter, so people started to suspect something happen to him.

There story doesn’t end there though, because it’s come out through court proceedings that Babudar filed the pauper’s affidavit on Dec. 22nd saying he had no money, was homeless, hadn’t had a job since 2020 and is seeking a public defender. So how, pray tell, has he been attending Chief’s games this whole time?!

The man also thought this was a bit strange and, after some investigative work, it’s now it’s being alleged that he would travel with the team to rob banks in the local area to pay for his tickets/travel expenses
