Verstappen was told to let Perez through if he couldn't pass Alonso. He couldn't pass Alonso, but didn't let his team-mate through #F1 #BrazilGP
— Chris Medland (@ChrisMedlandF1) November 13, 2022
So today was the Brazilian grand prix, the penultimate grandprix in the F1 calendar as they move to the progressive nation of UAE (Abu Dhabi GP) for the final one.
As it Stands the last year's world champion Max Verstappen, a Dutch fella managed to win the championship couple of races ahead, even if he doesn't race for the rest of the races or gets zero points, it doesn't matter as no one can mathematically pass him points wise in the remaining races.
Max's victory last year was a whole fricking shitshow where the FIA managed to frick up a lot of shit and people were canned and what not. Its a whole thread for itself. You can check the highlights of the race here:
Anyway Max is a TWO time world champion now. Doesn't need to care about his position or points. It was an exciting race today, with some crucial crashes and safety cars at crucial times.
His Teammate is Sergio "Checo" Perez, who has been his team mate last year and was crucial in Max getting the championship in 2021. In the highlights above you can see @ 3:26. Max even tells his team "Checo is a Legend!" for holding back Lewis Hamilton ( <== he looks exactly like this btw). He even attained the nick name Mexican Minister of Defence for his drive in that last race clutching Max his championship.
Currently in the Drivers championship standing, there is close battle between two drivers, Ferrari's Chuck Leclerc, and Redbull's Checo Perez. So you see, getting as many points in this race is crucial for both of them. Chuck got torpedoed by a twitch streamer in the race and kinda got lucky with the strategy (I am shocked the Ferrari 🤡🤡🤡s didn't mess up this time) and safety cars and was in 4th place and Checo got unlucky with the strategy and ended up behind is teammate max in 7th place. max was 6th and Checo was 7th in the last couple of laps.
Coming today's race Max doesn't need any more points as I said, and Checo needs as many as possible to make his fight for 2nd place easier. Since Chuck Leclerc was already in 4th it was a lot of difference. You see 6th place get 8 points, 7th gets 6 and 4th (Leclerc) gets 12 points. So Checo was set to lose 6 points to Leclerc if he finished in 7th.
The Redbull Team then orders Max to give the 6th place to Checo if he doesn't manage to pass anyone ahead. Well Max didn't manage to pass anyone ahead of him and didn't give his 6th place to Checo. Checo ended up 7th gaining only 6 points instead of 8.
When asked What THE FRICK NEIGHBOR WHAT HAPPENED. The dutchman clearly explains, "I told you guys already, you don't ask that of me again, are we clear about that?" See the radio interaction below.
This obviously upset a lot of people, how can MAX be SUCH A PEEPEE to Checo when Checo was the one who helped Max get his championship last year! Shits flinging off in /r/formula1 and /r/formuladank where the fan wars have begun. Some Max fans are coping he couldn't have since Checo was 4 seconds behind!!. This was demonstrably false considering the radio interaction of Max with the team.
Then later they release the radio of Checo with the team where you can hear Checo Saying "It shows who he really is."
Well everyone is already at this point in the groomercords, twitch chat, shit was popping off. People are turning on Max, even the people who supported him turning on him, max fans are battling hordes of people saying "WHAT A PEEPEE MOVE!!" Max was the saviour for many people ending the Dominant 7 year reign of Lewis Hamilton. Literally all the world except the bongs wanted Max to win last year and have been supporting him since.
NOW THE PLOT TWIST STARTS
Apparently CHECO being the cheeky Mexican he is crashed INTENTIONALLY in this years MONACO GRANDPIX QUALIFYING so that Max wouldn't get the pole, (see the highlights, timestamped below). This was apparently known knowledge in the scene but never publicly shared until the commentator alluded to why max would do what he did was because of Monaco Qualifying crash.
Now apparently Checo after crashing confessed his sins as a good Christian to Christian horner and MEGA GIGA SHIT STIRRER Helmut Marko who must have to told Max or something. Anyway here is the proof
It is correct what @TomCoronel just said at ViaPlay. Perez deliberately crashed in qualifying in Monaco and later admitted it to Helmut Marko and Christian Horner. Max Verstappen has not forgotten that.

Shits still being stirred Drama being created, tomorrow the tabloids are going to be fun and I cant wait to see fan meltdowns and fights. This is the time for Team LH to rise and shit talk Max fans as much as possible, I hope they do it.
Checo was interviewed after the race and he had to say this
" Yes. I'm very surprised, I don't know what happened. Especially after all I've done for him, no? I think that... I don't understand his reasons, and very surprised. I think that if he has two championships it's thanks to me."
The interview is in some Texan language but here is the translation
Q - Okay Checo, hard weekend, safety car, you are left with the mediums, and sadly P7. Bad for the championship fight but still on the fight with Leclerc
A - Yeah, sad that we lost so many points. Everything changed with the safety car. We had no more softs left and with such low temps I had no grip. I was a passenger. We got put in a hard spot, going from podium to P7.
Q - Yesterday issues were still there, with the deg. It looked like suffering.
A - Specifically with the soft I think we were good. Equal to Ferrari, but the Mercs were ahead. With the mediums we were very bad.
Q - At the end the team told Max to give back the position, but he was fighting with Alonso, and it didn't happen. Maybe it would have been right (to give back the position)?
A - Yes. I'm very surprised, I don't know what happened. Especially after all I've done for him, no? I think that... I don't understand his reasons, and very surprised. I think that if he has two championships it's thanks to me.
A bonus Clip of Chuck Leclerc begging his team to swap positions with his team mate who was in a podium position (lmao it was worth a try at least)
I will be going to sleep today as this was great drama for me to sleep happily and have a smile on my face for work tomorrow!
I know you must be thinking, hey cyberdick! who do you support in all this?!
I was a Ferrari fan since 1998 and I have been contemplating roping myself every year since 2008. but I guess I gotta wait till Next Year™️

We are now less than one month away from the start of the new season and as such we can officially stop pretending to care about international football. Last season's winners were a tie between @HetsAreFeds and @Avalon, unfortunately my prediction was way off as Conte turned out to be a bald fraud with a hairpiece. This season will be different though I assure you. 1000 Marseybucks to whoever was closest at end of season.
1. Tottenham (Kane stays, Madison is the long awaited Modric replacement, Son comes back to form, Llorris no longer in net thank god, no europe to worry about can focus 100% on domestic, if the backline gets improved they might even do the double but don't want to get too optimistic)
2. Manchester City (Haaland sophomore slump and probable injury, team in general lacking motivation as they've won everything already)
3. Manchester United (I like ETH. Onana is as good a DDG replacement one could find, they have some really great players, particularly Bruno Fernandes has always impressed me, feel like if they can finally put it all together again they could even win the league this season but for now third feels right.)
4. Liverpool (Fabinho, Firmino, Hendo and possible Thiago exits leave Liverpool midfield in question again, but I believe in Klopp, they'll make some moves and be up there in the thick of it once more.)
5. Arsenal (Declan Rice overrated, the English love to hype up their own. You can find a player like him for 10-30 million in Italy, Spain, Germany etc., Arsenal are a young squad who will be playing with the expectations that last season's 2nd place finish bring, I don't think they live up to them.)
6. Chelsea (Poch contracts HIV after it is revealed his wife has been cucking him for years with a series of POZZED BVLLS, losses his hair, kills himself shortly after getting the sack. Chelsea rebound in time to finish sixth but it is all for not as new FA anti-racism rules forces the club to dissolve shortly after the season ends. Chelsea supporters are round up en masse and executed humanly.)
7-17. Who Cares
18. Sheffield United (Managers last name is Heckingbottom, nah)
19. Bournemouth (why is this still a thing frick off already)
20. Luton Town (kek)

Last night KC Chiefs were playing the Buffalo Bills. There was 1:25 left, and KC is at the 50. Here is the play.
You might notice one guy standing on the blue line, looking back at the center. You might notice his whole team is behind him. If you didn't, the refs did and brought back the cool play. This caused Patrick Mahomes to spiral.
Mahomes is seen yelling, bordering on tears immediately after.
After having some time to think it over, Mahomes then doubles down in the post game interview.
For those that aren't football fans, this is how the chiefs won the Superbowl last year:
Note only WR's can get offensive offsides called, and they tend not to because well... it's not that hard to know you shouldn't be looking back at the ball.

From CBS Sports:
The 2023 World Series begins Friday night with Game 1 between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field. The D-backs eliminated the Philadelphia Phillies in the NL Championship Series while the Rangers outlasted the Houston Astros. Both series went the full seven games. MLB was one win in each league away from its first World Series rematch since the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees in 1977 and 1978.
Arizona won the season series 3-1 against the Rangers. They split two games in Texas from May 2-3, then the D-backs swept both games at Chase Field from Aug. 21-22. All but one game was close, however, including one D-backs win on a Tommy Pham walk-off double. Historically, teams that win Game 1 of a best-of-seven series have gone on to win the series 64% of the time. That's the odds boost on the line Friday night.
You can view the full postseason schedule by clicking here, and here's the 2023 playoff bracket. Now, let's get to the important stuff for the World Series
How to watch Game 1
Date: Friday, Oct. 27 | Time: 8:03 p.m.
Location: Globe Life Field (Arlington, Texas)
TV channel: Fox | Live stream: fubo (try for free)
Starting pitchers: RHP Zac Gallen (17-9, 3.47 ERA) vs. RHP Nathan Eovaldi (12-5, 3.63 ERA)
Odds: ARI +137 | TEX -160 | O/U: 8 ?
Live updates: Follow along
Preview
Because the two teams played two regular-season series, Gallen has already faced the Rangers twice in 2023. He allowed three runs in five innings on May 2, then struck out 11 while allowing one run in six innings on Aug. 22. Gallen coughed up nine runs in 11 innings in his two NLCS starts. He's up to 232 1/3 innings in 2023. Could fatigue be setting in? As for Eovaldi, he did not face the D-backs during the regular season, and he is a perfect 4-0 with a 2.42 ERA in four starts this postseason. Eovaldi has gone at least six innings in each of his four starts too. On paper, the Rangers have the pitching edge in Game 1, though the D-backs have been overcoming long odds all October.
Prediction
Eovaldi outduels Gallen and the Rangers get timely home runs from Corey Seager and Josh Jung to jump out to a 1-0 series lead. Pick: Rangers 4, D-backs 2
I'll try to make the post before game 2, but best I got rn. Discuss
