If memory serves, His Majesty the King cut off the family money supply, so they have to rely on their own celebrity and backdoor connections for funding.
However, they failed to make enough "content" for their podcast deal so Spotify shitcanned them. Their Netflix deal is also on the rocks. Harry's memoir was a big hit, but leaking a few family secrets isn't a sustainable business model.
Now, H&M's novelty is wearing off among the public; people just aren't caring about their antics as much. Also, because they betrayed the Royal Family, the usually-reliable "royal fans" of course won't tune in.
I don't know how much trouble they're in right now, but things aren't as certain as 12 months ago. They earned a lot under the aforementioned deals, but money drains fast in their lavish lifestyle.
Considering that Meghan only married him for the fame and wealth, I reckon she will eventually discard him and he'll go crawling back to his father and brother.
