That's horrible and you should be able to request that the site remove it. I thought there was a law in place about revenge posting or illegal acts. It would mean that you would have to file a police report over it though and go through the legal channels.

[OP] Laws don't mean anything when the site is hosted in a country that will not listen to yours, or when you report the person and the police just don't investigate. "The crown attorney declined to press charges due to insufficient evidence", because they just fundamentally do not see this as their problem

That's why I believe vigilantly justice is ok. Send a gang of friends to frick up the person that did this to you. You deserve justice in whatever form you can get it.
