Men are by far the main emotionally codependent people I've met, who seek support from someone out side of their lived experience, but expect empathy and self abandonment for support instead of just looking for people with shared healing journeys to heal together. Why is it women's responsibility to solve male mental healthy? Why can't they take responsibility of their own healing?

Because there's two layers to reddit engagement - the clickbot shit and then the actual discussion shit. For clickbots, it's just reposts of a cat falling over to get the maximum number of upmarseys.
For discussion, you need people chiming in and people prefer to b-word more than they want to praise anything so discussion tends to skew negative. Then when negativity is the preferred content of comments, it's the people that can appeal to the sensibilities of others that rise to the top. Narcissists are good at playing to other people otherwise they would have knocked that shit off a long time ago.
Twitter and FB is almost all clickbait garbage which is why the comments aren't actual discussions - people just wanna scroll, see, and move on.
