I mean, I certainly wouldn't put it past them. All dating apps treat men like shit, but I don't think it's the most probable outcome here compared to them being like: "There's no clear violation of the rules, so we'll just make him invisible to her and say something vague about how we 'took action'. After all, he might be a paying customer or might become one."

I don't know what it's like on Hinge, but apparently Tinder is pretty liberal with the ban hammer and will ban accounts over extremely small things so I wouldn't be surprised if this is true.

I still have zero idea why I was banned from tinder. Met someone. Deleted account. Dated for two and a half years. We broke up. Went to go make an account again and I was banned no response from support. Had to use a Google voice number to make a profile, which worked out since I met my fiancé there.
