EDH Rules Committee Quits, WotC In Charrrrrge Now

Recently, the RC banned a few expensive format staples. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as good for dramacoin.

Apparently it didn't go down all too well, however, as today the entire Rules Committee resigned their post and handed the format officially to Wizards to manage. Allegedly this is because they were sent death threats.

People are not happy about this, and there's significant popcorn being spilled all over the internet

By regular magic you mean constructed 60 card deck of standard, pioneer, explorer, modern, legacy, vintage? I presume. Also excluding brawl, Canadian highlander, etc etc?

It is easier to describe commander itself.

Commander is a deck made of 99 cards and a legendary creature called a commander for a total deck list of 100 cards. It is also a singleton format, meaning no more than one copy of a given named card. The commander is in a special zone where it can be recast from repeatedly throughout the game (albeit with mounting penalties).

It is best played as a multiplayer format with a pod of 4 but it can easily accommodate play group sizes from two to 8.

commander was already being fricked by wotc, so it's not like much of will change (and certainly if anything does change it won't be positive)

I hope the fricking price of all those cards skyrocket back up to their original prices after they tanked and got dumped on the fricking secondary markets.

God that would be fricking amazing.

I've never played mtg before. Did a bit of reading on it and commander after the last post here and it looks pretty interesting. Would it be worth it to get a couple proxy decks from mpc and play online with randoms through spelltable? Don't know any people irl that play.
