God bless all of you! I hope you had a good week and a good Sunday!

This week my pastor gave a somewhat confusing sermon in his series on Exodus where he talked about the precision with which God executed the plagues and how they showed his command over all the elements (as compared with pagan gods who would only control one thing) but he was SUPPOSED to (at least he said he would last week) tie things into God's loving nature and how they ultimately proceeded from that and he didn't really connect that dot, at least as far as I understood.

But where understanding fails faith sees us through! What did your church talk about this week, and what did you think of it?

What did you talk about in church today??? My pastor gave a sermon on Exodus about how it shows God is really loving, but I dont agree with him, I think Exodus requires you to accept that God can be kind of a peepee when he wants to be and that he has that right because hes God

Hello. I am not a very religious person, but if God gives me a girlfriend I would change my mind. How do I go about asking God to do this for me?

Like maybe the goal of /h/atheism is to be annoying but my goal is to spread the loving word of Christ and I don't think I accomplish that by bullying people into hearing it.
