Quick recap: Billy Mitchell is said to have set the first really official or well recognized high-score on Donkey Kong, one of the first games to be widely competitive. It has since been proven like 10 different ways he did not legitimately get the scores he claimed and his and his accomplice Todd Rodgers' other world records have been thoroughly debooonked. The old record keeping site Twin Galaxies finally had to remove his scores even tho they really did not want to due to the publicity it gained and made them look incompetent. Billy is now suing them with pretty much 0 proof besides his friends saying it totally happened for sure
kinda have to respect the guy, he just does not care what the nerds say and keeps doubling down
