I never upgrade. Eventually i have to buy a new laptop but I've never encountered a game which didn't work on the new version of bindows. Even Empire At War and Morrowind still work. The Steam Deck is based on Linux and is having the wonderful effect of making more and more games linux compatable. Those Steam Deck users who downmarsey any game without Steam Deck compatibility are doing God's work.
