Even though i asked for recs i started playing elden ring again because its been half finished for months. In some ways its a sick game. The art direction in particular is phenomenal, the core gameplay is still fun. But the open world is still an absolute boring slog. It feels like an utter waste of time

It is the worst because the maps suck, the combat has been noobified while simultaneously the bosses are the most obnoxious theyve ever been to compensate

The bosses are either absolute aids, or easier than the regular enemies in their area. Honestly I think most of it's issues boil down to From being unable to add the detail they normally would due to the "open world".

I think their production pipeline is just shit. They have never made a game save for maybe sekiro that wasn't blatantly unfinished. Even the lore which is easy to do is borderline incomprehensible this time
