Depends on the game (I only know SR for sure had an Amy Henig type staff member) and depends if you think "Much higher quality writing and characterization then this series ever deserved" is a sign of having a foid writer on staff.
Imo I can see it in some of the ways they humanize Rance. You'd only get those ideas consulting with a (perverted) woman; he's the perfect scoundrel with a heart.
