Probably for the best yeah, I'm sure the sequel would try to rehash the characters again and they'd probably add crafting and base building into it like every other game. Sometimes it's best to just leave things as they are.

Tides of Numenera was a good sequel to Planescape Torment until they ran out of money and the game just ends.

I wonder how much of a sequel is possible... I'd probably have had a different character and setting in universe but then you'd lose the unique personality mechanic where your brain is arguing with you

I'd play it maybe if it was a Cuno spinoff where you play as Cuno and just be a c*nt to everyone you meet.

It's heavily implied to be Cuno as the next protagonist. He joins the RCM under you if pass some skill checks during your talks with him(and Kim dies :marseygiveup:). Plus him being a former coping junkie allows the fun skills to come back without a lot of hand waving.
