If you've missed my hundreds of posts about it over the years, NMS makes all other vidya obsolete and unnecessary if it scratches your tism itch correctly.
I'd recommend it on any other platform than Switch but it's a fine single player experience there all the same I've heard

We're expecting a major content update in 1-3 weeks and it always goes 50% off for those (around 4x/year + regular Steam sales). It's absolutely worth full price but saving 30 bucks is always a good idea so hold off I'd say.

I really don't get popularity of Rome 2, the worst of modern TW for me (discounting minor ones nobody played). It's missing so many of the fetch things of Rome/M2 like general speeches, it doesn't have the polish and gunpowder of S2 nor the faction diversity of Warhammer. And naval combat sucks every time TW tries to model it.
Liked Attila though, trying to survive as Rome is fun, as are the underappreciated aesthetics of Christian Rome.
