The funny thing about that story is that it wasn't a dude farting on women it was a dude farting on men.
This somehow turns into a story about how women are deeply oppressed in the video game industry. Riot Games ended up paying out a shit ton of money to settle the case to all women, current and former employees, regardless of whether they were actually victims or not.
The "sexism in the industry" shit is one giant grift that keeps replicating itself in different video game companies over and over again because these companies hired a shit ton of mentally unstable sjw's to work for them.
