Yeah I feel like because they work in a creative industry / on an entertainment product that they forget that they are a business and somehow think it's okay to get mouthy on public social media.
Like maybe they genuinely have deluded themselves into thinking the general consumer and fanbase doesn't have a chud bias but even then do they have any sense that when making a product you want to appeal as widely as possible? I mean, the Halo games and novels is it's own issue. The paramount show is something called Silver Timeline which doesn't affect the main Halo Universe in any way. That was honestly the smartest and only good decision they made. All the rest were shit.
