who wins here? after neverwinter nights they found out wizards of the coast are c*nts to work with so they made their own universe in dragon age and now they probably tanked the company and I'm suppose to celebrate that because of a couple of :!marseytrain:s? frick everyone involved

What was the last good game they put out? ME2?

It's not about the trains, the company just sucks

Maybe ME3 if you ignore how weak the story is and just like the combat. That was 12 years ago.

ME3 is so ridiculously uneven. It had some great moments but also the dumbest shit ever, and then fell completely flat on its face at the very end.

Also it's incredible that they decided to lock the Javik character behind DLC, considering how he's without doubt one of the most interesting parts of the game.

It's too bad the awful parts weren't in the middle and the good parts at the end. We'd have good memories that way.

Combat was step down of 2. Only fun if you just mess around to break it.

ME2 story is also shit, it's one giant side-quest, largely inconsequential. The characters are great (not you Jacob) but the entire setup is r-slurred.

Also ME4 no?

ME:4 was about as bad as DA5 is.

Inqustion sold really really well and they timed it right. If it had come after witcher 3 it would have been received way worse and remberder more poorly.

In buisness point of view. Their last good game was 10 years ago.

Imagine having ability to fail at everything for 10 years and still keeping your job

Yeah Inquisition was very lucky that it released in 2014 which was probably the weakest year for releases in the entire decade and it didn't really have any direct competitors. The GOTY it received was more based on it being the only RPG released that year more so than merit.

And dark souls 2 having lukewarm reception.

Year later and it would have been shat on like this game. Imagine putting out mmo lite after witcher 3. Or having that combat after bloodborn. Even fallout 4 is more rpg then inquisition.
