There is one "review", it's from WindowsCentral:
"Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 can't be awarded a score in its current state because there's nothing to evaluate. Constant crashes and cloud-streaming bugs followed an awful launch-day experience and persisted a full 24 hours since the game's release. Until the developers can patch the game and get it running as intended, there's little reason to fork out the asking price on your own copy on Xbox or PC, and it'll remain a Game Pass oddity mostly limited to Xbox Cloud Gaming. [Review in Progress]"
!g*mers !neurodivergents anyone of you spergs here ever play some of it?

Really? One of my friends has been playing it for the past hour. I'd assumed he would have said something if it was that broken. He likes bitching about stuff.

Is it possible to download whole thing? Wasnt that case with last one. You could download whole game but it would be massive.

I'll forgive it (if it works) since it's flight simulator.
I don't really have any need to download a topographic model of the entire earth 95% of which will never be seen by any normal flight route

It doesn't work, topographical data work a reasonable degree of accuracy is pretty light altogether, and you don't need every hut in Balaanagalanaganalanaganan to be accurately depicted. This solves a problem that doesn't exist.

Tbh if you don't have hard drive space to store super resolution textures and meshes simulating the entire globe you're ngmi.

Cloud-based?
Wtf, why??? From what I recall about the older ones, you need some good hardware for it.

So people on chromebooks can play. It streams all the textures from the crowd

Isn't it multiplayer? I read somewhere they implemented a nice library for UDP on elixir.

Flight simulator has long since become an exercise in rendering every square inch of the planet in full detail. It was inevitable they went this route

But why render over the internet? Sounds slow and stupid.
Jump in the discussion.

Because no personal computer could possibly render it at full resolution and no private storage solution is large enough for the whole game, it's really pretty simple

That makes zero sense.

Neighbor r u just r-slurred? Let me explain it like this, the game has high definition textures and detailed modeling for everywhere in the world and it only takes 30gb to install.

Then get a graphics card. Running it on the cloud is r-slurred and delayed. You'd need to spend more on internet for a year than you would on a good PC. Cloud-gaming is r-slurred; just look at it. Keeps crashing because they're trying to load everything through an internet connection.
!g*mers, why are Danish gaymers so dumb and ?
