Source is a literally who site with like 10k xitter followers mostly just posted to KIA and according to its frontpage headlines mainly writing about "muh DEI", so I expected a bunch of chudslop drivel...nope. Turns out the article is rather neutral and based on actual facts. A quick google search revealed that, yes Ubisoft is actually in trouble. They're even worth less than fricking Paradox Interactive I couldn't tell because I haven't given a frick about Ubishit in years.
Here's hoping those fricking WSB r-slurs don't end up saving this shithole of a company like they saved Gamestop.
They have delivered only bombs. Rest of their games are having hard time in development.
Star war game they made. Nobody cared. development, licensing, and marketing is between $200 and $300 million.
Skull & Bones cost between $650 to $850 million over its 10 years of production
They have been burning money to make games nobody asked for. Their owner is idiot who want to be in charge. Multiple times companies have lined behind their door to buy them out. But it always end when owner wants to stay in charge
At this point even the former Gen Z children Ubisoft used to sell their garbage to, have seeming grown up to the point that they recognize Ubisoft games as total goyslop. Gen Alpha meanwhile is totally addicted to whatever free-to-play garbage is currently trending on TikTok.

Literally had to google this one, which certainly isn't good if you spent $300 million on it and that I'm semi active on gaming forums.

Skull and Bones also fleeced a lot of up and coming countries looking to park investment money so Ubisoft basically burned the Muzzie Money Bridge too.
