If it were a good game that I could play for 1k+ hours. Maybe, half of it.

I payed for Stellaris and most of it's DLC's, and I don't regret it with my playtime.

Thing is, I don't think this game will be good (and pre-purchasing is for actual r-slurs). I dislike Civ6, and this looks like Civ6 with some elements from Humankind (which I like despite it not being very good), but with combat being the only good thing they borrowed. The weird leader choices, them not being tied to Civ's by default, Civ switching, only 3 eras. It's going to suck at launch, and I doubt it will be ever truly good.

Why do Australians pay out the butt for digital goods? It's not like they need to ship a physical copy across an ocean to them? Is it just force of habit at this point? Or is it because companies know they deserve it and make them pay more to remind them that they're nothing but marooned convicts?

I'd pay for them as much as I pay for $60 games. Which is literally never in my life, buying a game at launch for full price is restarded
