Mods troll people in strange ways. The chadmins nerfed Thieving loot tables at stalls for some reason, making Farming nigh impossible to train. Basically the hats scenario here all over again.
People sneeding about some dumb shit so they started a riot in Lumbridge. Think swastika campfires. Only these dumbasses didn't schedule a time so fricking no one showed up LOL.
Mods moved a table a few tiles over in Lumbridge basement so I got stuck and a mod had to teleport me out. People posted pics of me haha.

The nostalgia of standing in Falador Park spamming chat to sell your items lasts all of about 10 minutes. Having the GE's blind order book system is much more convenient, and also you can do fun things like cornering the market on low-volume items.

Runes are a massive money sink in /v/scape. Any and all consumables are in high demand, so not having the GE feels bad in that sense. However there are a lot of drop parties from power users and drifters who've started and quit, of which there seems to be a constant stream

Eh, I've never played RuneScape but the people I know who did play it all universally say something like 'wow I can't believe I wasted so many hours on that thing'.
rdrama should start an eve online corp though, that's the only MMO I actually look back at as being somewhat fun instead of (only) a massive pointless grind.

Pure essence is priceless due to high demand and low demand for runecrafting. You can make bank if you grind. Drops are very hard to get due to the small playerbase but people sometimes give you shit for free if you ask.
