'IP's' is incorrect. People tend to go by the rule that 'if I don't know how to make a plural of this word I'll add an apostrophe' which is an error that's so common people sometimes pick it up as the proper way to make plurals. But really it's as simple as just adding an S so it's IPs not IP's, 1960s not 1960's etc. Some people even add it to words just because they end in a vowel like 'schema's' or something. But you should leave that apostrophe alone unless you're looking to make a possessive or you're marking an omission of letters.

What a load of crap. If you don't know how to make a plural, just add an apostrophe - that's the rule. And people who add apostrophes to words that end in a vowel are just doing it because they're too lazy to look up the correct spelling.
