yeah i started in 1 so while i've been nickled and dimed it felt significantly less painful. I'd recommend just buying the base second one when it goes on sale. The way it's setup is it's still very playable without the dlc, you just get extra lords when your bored with the ones you started with.

I still intend to pick it up eventually, hopefully when it gets a better discount. The demo they offered was fun, but when every other game is like $7.50, it's kind of a hard sell.

Yeah its pretty pricey but its defintely worth thr value. But at the end of the day its just a video game and there are other things to spend time/money on thats more worthwhile.
