Hard to do in the current year. If you take a look at every faction, even the ones more based on a group of actual people than others, you’ll see that they’re terrible bastardizations of what those people were and generally aren’t very positive interpretations. Making a black faction that isn’t at least neutral good isn’t going to do anything but make people on twitter angry, and making them the good guys is only gonna alienate the people who actually buy models or games

"Prank," my butt. This was a legitimate attempt to rip off a bunch of Bronies by Sam Hyde and the other unfunny manbabies over at Million Dollar Extreme. there are screenshots of Hyde and his cronies gloating, with Hyde in particular planning to pay his rent and alimony. They thought they could rip off Bronies because no one would care or come to their aid. Claiming this was a "prank" and not a full-on scam that was found out and fell through is revisionist as frick.

I'm more of a Malifaux fan myself but I wish they sold prepainted plastic models. It'd be nice to occasionally play a strategic wargame which doesn't require you to spend hundreds of hours (and thousands of dollars) obsessively painting your minis.
I already have enough nerdy interests to be considered a little strange: I don't need to turn it into a whole lifestyle
