there's no lie in that statement. the loaded party (rdrama) forced to you ask her despite protest.

if she further enquires about the party, present yourself as a middle man of the rich client who can not have direct person to person connections due to the nature of his work. but you would surely convey that elli was interested to talk

if she asks exorbitant amount say, the party is open palm with money but there your role as economic advisor comes in to assess the market price as the party absolutely hates being cheated.
