To me the most bizarre thing about ResetERA isn't the mindnumbingly r-slurred hot takes. It's the comments that are just "oh god", "go frick yourself", "fricking awful", "smh", etc. All of the top 20 comments are some variation of this.
Why would a person do this? There is no information in these messages other than "I disapprove of what the bad guy did". They're not even getting upmarseys like redditors. Some kind of psychological need is being met by this even though there's no conversation or any kind of social interaction.
