Answer: Justice4Darrell was a troll subreddit run by members of the rDrama community, a now, off site, community that spawned from the subreddit /r/Drama. This troll subreddit that was created appears to be mocking his misunderstandings of the law in a Poe's law type fashion and probably was created to troll the general Reddit community. They were responsible for, from what I can tell, the whole operation. They had previously been behind a troll campaign to expose LibsOfTikTok's shoddy journ*lism practices, the cat on /r/place, TXBountyHunters, and other such campaigns.

The initial posts got a bit of traction in some communities, and I actually had made a SubredditDrama post on the matter when I found it. I had been following the trial because of what I find to be Darrell's frankly deplorable behavior and antics and the high profile nature of the case.

Later, someone from that community had referenced the /r/SubredditDrama subreddit (a subreddit about highlighting drama on reddit) in their troll post to the community about being a juror. From what I can tell, they probably successfully signal boosted it by showing it to various law streamers on YouTube and other platforms.

Earlier today, the judge mentioned the Justice4Darrell subreddit and once they had done that, those same trolls, who I can assume were probably watching the live stream, took the opportunity to change the subreddit banner to link to their website.
