I’m not a lawyer, I just have a few in my family and ask these kinds of hypotheticals a lot.

If the argument can be made that you’re just putting your money in someone else’s name to get away from financial obligations you hold (like child support, alimony), the trust can broken by court order.

If you don’t want to give a chick your stuff when you divorce in the US, get a prenuptial agreement and get a lawyer to validate it, since judges will throw out lopsided prenups all the time too.

Apparently these Looney Tune loopholes have been scrutinized for literal centuries, so if you can think about a situation, it’s probably been ruled on.
