went on a date with a women and while they were lookong for parking the scammer ( Elliot Nix) came up to them saying they could leave their car in the parking lot for $40 dollars. The later learned from an employee at the restaurant that the scammer didn't actually work there so excused himself from the date to go to his car to grab his gun and kill the scammer. He then went back to his date after killing Nix.
Unfortunately, the police started looking for him and the foid ratted him out. But some are speculating that he'll get away with it because of some based laws in Texas

Nix faced two misdemeanor charges from 2022. One was for criminal trespassing and theft of less than $100 and at the time of his death. He also had multiple prior criminal convictions dating back to 2006, including for theft and trespassing, according to court records.

I agree. The murderer is obviously a total sociopath and deserves to be in prison, but I don't feel a whole lot of sympathy for the thief... I'm not sure why everyone else here does.

Did he “deserve” to die? of course not… I just think we need to make the best of a tragedy…the silver lining of this mess is that we as the public, won’t need worry about these two anymore…I don’t feel sorry for the thief or the murderer…I’m that the way I am choosing to look and think about this…

But this one seems off. It's weird. Might be the 'killing a neighbor and going back to his date' part that throws me off. There's something eerie about it

So what? If this psychopath is only targeting criminals, he's doing a public service. Clearly the authorities are unable to maintain order based on how out of control crime is in our society, so I think having deadly (yet law-abiding) vigilante psychopaths operating openly would be a powerful disincentive to both criminals and anarchists.

It's a matter of perspective, one that I wholly empathise with. There's so much crime these days that out of seven billion people, who gives a shit about some smelly, useless criminal? Literally doing the world a favour by wiping that detritus off the face of the planet. Helping fight the good fight. Stopping others from losing $40, etc.
Some people just really could not give a frick about human lives like others do. I never really have, the death of strangers does not affect me in any way and I hold less value and interest for a criminal than I do a cane toad.
