WRONG. The only thing that makes a red/blue state a red/blue state is the people that vote in the elections. That means YOU (or, more accurately, NOT YOU). During the 2020 election, two deep red states (Arizona and Georgia) switched from Red to Blue. Also, in our lifetimes, many traditionally red states have begun drifting blue in matters of state politics. Kansas, a deep red state, for instance, has a Democrat governor and congresspeople.

It might actually be illegal to require proof of voting in the US. I mean yeah the gov probably isn't gonna crack down on this place and it's easy to say "who cares?" but they did just 86 the movie night presumably due to US copyright law.
