"Power imbalance"
Same argument could be used to prevent them from working, paying taxes, and buying or selling things. It's a woman-brained argument that makes no sense. They chase after guys who have more power than them, and most guys could beat them silly any time they wanted, so there will always be a power imbalance.
Besides, if she can get a job, leave, go back home if she's living with him, she's not lacking power in that relationship.
