They don't seem to understand that humans are social animals and we want to make friends with ppl we actually spend time with. Teenage years are the first years we really make those decisions on our own, and no one wants to hang out with the weirdo who sits in his room obsessing with his computer.
Also, working hard at a sport you like is still commendable at a young age and teaches you alot about how to get along with other ppl for shared goals. Being social and charismatic is commendable and a basic skill these ppl can't understand.

It's still worth noting that Bay Area foids are still the worst community of foids in the whole country, and this is coming from someone who did manage to score some decent fricks while living there. Hilariously miscalibrated is an understatement. It amazes me the sheer number of foids out there, especially wholly unremarkable 4-5/10 mayo and mexifoids, who think theyre entitled a patagonia-wearing, rockclimbing, 7-figure salaried, woke Luigi Mangione lookalike. Thats not to say that its hopeless for men who don't meet that criteria, but it was a huge shock to discover how much extra effort i had to put in for the same kind of foid who would have otherwise enthusiastically jumped on my peepee if she were from SoCal. In fact, there's even an industry of matchmakers that will fly in foids from LA because Bay Area women are so terrible.
I think the gender imbalance of the area doesn't help, but other male-skewed areas Ive spent time in like San Diego still aren't nearly this bad.

Two main reasons: It's so goddarn depressing year after year. More importantly, current events are just happening too fast for me to keep up with. My historical knowledge is pretty useless because current events there are unprecedented. Like the Assad regime dominating both countries has been pretty consistent since long before I was born. I really don't know wtf is going on. When I'm writing something serious, I try to actually stick to where I have some confidence I know wtf is going on.

To be fair as well, women like Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian made their own money through being able to monetise their notoriety and image in a way that many others couldn't. Yeah this is actually a good take. We should be doing everything we can to resist the asian-ification of our education system. That system is fine at producing subservient high-mids like meh software engineers or meh finance people or whatever. But I've never met a truly exceptional person who followed this path, and I've met people who were like literally the best student in their Chinese province of 250 million people. All the exceptional people I know were talented goof-offs or jocks.

Yeah, if the Asian childraising and education system worked so much better than ours, I figure they would be a lot closer to having our per-capita wealth than they actually are. Obviously the US has some geographic advantages and so on, but despite those we would probably have been outstripped by now, rather than still being #1, if the Asian approach was superior.
