Have you seen how good Mike is though in the trivia shows? He's as good as me. I wouldn't believe anybody was that good if it wasn't for me being that good.
Critical Drinker is one of the many youtubers who saw him and thought that doing a different voice would make everything funny. It doesn't. That was his shtick and involved a bunch of jokes about being a serial killer which you can't do anymore when you're famous. It's sad because many (LazerPig among them) have good ideas but it makes them annoying.

Those Star Trek trivia shows are their best content. Mike exaggerates his competitiveness / autism for comedic effect, but then gets caught up in it for real.
Then it becomes not really about winning for him, but about the process correctly determining who performs better at Star Trek trivia. And he gets ashamed if he misses things he should have got. Quality tism.
