That and working within the industry amongst seasoned professionals is different compared to this indie. The talent Lynch had access to while making Eraserhead is different from this flick. Have you seen how good Mike is though in the trivia shows? He's as good as me. I wouldn't believe anybody was that good if it wasn't for me being that good.
Critical Drinker is one of the many youtubers who saw him and thought that doing a different voice would make everything funny. It doesn't. That was his shtick and involved a bunch of jokes about being a serial killer which you can't do anymore when you're famous. It's sad because many (LazerPig among them) have good ideas but it makes them annoying.

Those Star Trek trivia shows are their best content. Mike exaggerates his competitiveness / autism for comedic effect, but then gets caught up in it for real.
