The most that would come of it is an investigation , but section 230 protects reddit from schizos saying unhinged shit so long as they make some sort of reasonable effort to clean it up, which is probably why the sub got closed for 72 hours. IDK what ur referring to, but reddit is largely a content theft site. There's more than a decade of history there and they could in theory go back and DMCA every tweet that's at least somewhat original and potentially sue the poster.

Ye it won't take reddit down but like I said they own no rights to show any tweets. The law basically shifts responsibility from the website to the poster. The person who tweeted can DMCA. And afaik DMCA or not sue the poster.
