modern drone warfare is trench warfare, if you don't have the equipment and manpower to establish solid trench lines and bunkers you get pinned down and picked apart, and with the constant recon drones it's not a matter of making it to a tree line and escaping, you just lose a whole platoon because someone got spotted out in the open and now the FPV drones keep coming and coming.

I don't think saying better trained and equipped units suffer less casualties is controversial. An SPMAGTF is a Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, a well-organized, modern unit that integrates air support, ground operations, and logistics that has already trained and worked together prior to deploying. Marine Air-Defense Integrated System is a drone killing system. TTPs are tactics, techniques, and procedures, basically your immediate actions in situations of different types based on the mission.

So I'm dumb and read some article because I was curious
My initial question was "why not just shoot the drone?"
Turns out that's a million dollar question. Apparently drones are super fast and soldiers can't shoot them down even while firing thousands of bullets.
Their best methods currently are EAGLES (the birds?!) and low range net cannons.
That's because some drones can fly even without a signal, because they have some pre-programmed stuff in them, so jammers don't work.
Basically war is literally heck now. Imagine super speed birds that explode and 1 shot you buzzing around everywhere, you can't aim at them, you can't run from them either..
