Graham dropped James off at Manchester Airport on 28 April. From there he caught a flight to Krakow then boarded a bus to Ternopil, where he joined up with the International Legion and underwent a basic training programme lasting about four weeks.

B-word what. That's nowhere near enough time

It's true that most infantrymen fight for the dude to their left and right rather than for some r-slurred ideals. Russoids are doing the same.

One battalion of US Marines could stomp Russia's butt back to the border but the ImPliCaTioNs for national ego would be too much and Putin would have to An Hero us all.

Poor kid. What an r-slured conflict.

the US Marines would get their shit pushed in they are an expeditionary force meant to operate with little logistical support.

modern drone warfare is trench warfare, if you don't have the equipment and manpower to establish solid trench lines and bunkers you get pinned down and picked apart, and with the constant recon drones it's not a matter of making it to a tree line and escaping, you just lose a whole platoon because someone got spotted out in the open and now the FPV drones keep coming and coming.

the airforce would do fine, just bomb the shit out of anything russian that is made of metal or meat.

Unlikely. I'd slap those gay drones out of the air with my peepee.

I mean a battalion of grunts but that battalion would deploy as some kind of SPMAGTF with integrated Air and Logistics and they would have anti-drone capabilities like MADIS and other ECMs. They wouldn't just pop up with a bunch of dudes and old rifles. Ukrainians are dying en masse because they have poor training (especially the irregulars, but so do Russians), poor discipline, shitty TTPs, shitty logistics, and shitty C2. I mean they have heart and are trying, and none of this is their fault, but yeah.

But that would cause Putin to turn off the gas to Germany and to nuke Warsaw.

The most important thing in millitary discourse is to use as many acronyms as possible to sound smart and experienced.

Somewhere out there in the trenches is a 45 year old ukrainian former car mechanic with a beer gut and alcohol problem who knows more about drone warfare than the entier US marine corps.

I don't think saying better trained and equipped units suffer less casualties is controversial. An SPMAGTF is a Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, a well-organized, modern unit that integrates air support, ground operations, and logistics that has already trained and worked together prior to deploying. Marine Air-Defense Integrated System is a drone killing system. TTPs are tactics, techniques, and procedures, basically your immediate actions in situations of different types based on the mission.

^Here's a MADIS

I'm sure the Ukrainian dude is brave and has a lot of experience but he's at a disadvantage without support. But he is able to fight a sustained guerrilla campaign until the Russians decide it's not worth their fricking time.

Ukraine should have kept their nukes

I guess when you've been a professional killer for so long you forget how to say that the Soldiers have a Plan to use Anti-drone weaponry

>hitting several launched drones during a live-fire test at the Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona

cute, but a glide bomb will vaporize it easily and being a short range gun system the spotter drone will sit outside it's range and watch to make sure the glide bombs hit home

the army would show up with that

the marines would show up with rifles, grenades, twinkies, and cocaine.

great for taking out japs or hajjis but sending them at russian front lines would just earn some commander a slap on the wrist and a transfer.

One battalion of US marines would get droned out of existance on day 2.
