One of my two conspiracies that I believe in is that the three letter agencies of the US all have a contest on who can do the wackiest shit in a year and get away with it without getting caught. Somewhere in the 90s an entry (i think from the FBI) was definitely "We infiltrated every commie group in the US and told them being a manly dude was problematic and the ideal aesthetic was a pitiful femboy...and they all bought it!" and likely won that year.

Mainly I think it's funny is all. But SOMETHING happened in the 90s to commies that made them absurdly gay and I don't know what. Like i mean the logical progression is there but it's like a switch.

Alternatively it WAS always there and the moment the soviets fell there wasn't any "moral foundation of communism" left so the walls fell in.
