You can't close a betting thread with "is this permanent" because then Reddit could always walk it back at some point you FUCKING MORON. People can also maximize winnings (and losses) with more options. The key to a good bet is providing a variety of choices with roughly similar probabilities in a vacuum so bettors can feel smart and use their brains figuring it out. YWNBAJ (and I envy you)

I've never ran a betting thread so yea, I'll be humble and concede that maybe you're right.
I'm just saying that from my perspectuve it's more fun to have a low-stakes bet with higher chance of winning vs a high-stakes bet where you have to snipe a low probability. Whereas in a yes-no bet you could use more of your judgment regarding general knowledge of reddit's actions, having to guess it by the hour comes down more to luck than anything. You know what I mean?
