Doing a ton of running now, I'm up to 35 miles a week trying to build back my base. Planning a couple races this year... doing a half marathon in June and a full marathon in October... thinking about doing a 50 miler this year too.

You ever think about running from the cops? lol it's only a misdemeanor to flea on foot, but if you were good at running, they couldn't catch you. The hypothetical situation where I get to flea from a cop on foot is my main motivation for getting my cardio back up too bad nothing ever happens
This is a worthy goal fr but tbh the feeling of accomplishment of a full marathon isn't worth the risk to your body. This comes from very previously fit friends who have jacked up their bodies doing the same.
If you want to spice it up try cross country or trail running.
I've ran marathons before, they aren't that bad if you are properly trained and go at a proper pace for your endurance level. Most people try to do way too much too fast and mess themselves up. I've done stupid stuff too though, last year I did a half marathon on the back end of having covid and hurt myself. I was still dehydrated from having a fever all week that my body just broke down around 10 miles in.
