I went from 32% body fat (obese) to 18% (healthy range) in 2.5yrs

going to the gym consistently with multiple random months of slacking off in between and eating less not better

I can finally consistently bench 200. Albeit with a smith machine since I am cheap and go to Planet Fitness. So that's kinda neat. Still look duper dyel tho. :marseygiveup:

Heavy week this week for my 531. 350 for deadlift, 160 for bench press. 215 for squat and 95 for overhead press.

Doing a ton of running now, I'm up to 35 miles a week trying to build back my base. Planning a couple races this year... doing a half marathon in June and a full marathon in October... thinking about doing a 50 miler this year too.

You ever think about running from the cops? lol it's only a misdemeanor to flea on foot, but if you were good at running, they couldn't catch you. The hypothetical situation where I get to flea from a cop on foot is my main motivation for getting my cardio back up :marseyxd: too bad nothing ever happens :marseysad:

This is a worthy goal fr but tbh the feeling of accomplishment of a full marathon isn't worth the risk to your body. This comes from very previously fit friends who have jacked up their bodies doing the same.

If you want to spice it up try cross country or trail running.

I've ran marathons before, they aren't that bad if you are properly trained and go at a proper pace for your endurance level. Most people try to do way too much too fast and mess themselves up. I've done stupid stuff too though, last year I did a half marathon on the back end of having covid and hurt myself. I was still dehydrated from having a fever all week that my body just broke down around 10 miles in.

I have about the same score as you but my ankles are 100 and my shoulders are in the potty.

My postchain sucks too, I think that's what hinders my squats. It's weird how no one really talks about that online - it's all either ankles or knees.

I'm finally squatting again without knee pain which is nice. I'm not sure whether it's GOWOD or the 8 generic knee pain exercises that the physio gave me.

I think shoulder score is more for holding the barbell at the bottom of the squat.

I've been sick the last few days. Flu I think. Shit sucks. Longest I haven't worked out since August. lol I tried pushups yesterday and got like 8, it feels like I have arthritis in all my joints

But this shit is great for my cut. After 10 or 11 weeks, I was getting pretty burned out and my weight loss wasn't great last week. I've lost close to 5 lbs having a fever lol.
