So if an American thinks ~~biological men~~ trans women should not compete with women, and gets cancelled by the extreme/woke left, then they should not hold the entire left accountable for that correct?Because what I see happening are issues similar to these, where tiktok or any online media blasts the left as a whole and not just the far/extreme/left. Also if you notice, these issues affect a very small percentage Americans. I can't help but think it would be beneficial to draw a distinction of which part of the left actually holds these views so as to not paint the entire side in a negative light. (-27)

Who? Who has been "canceled" for stating this? I want actual examples with names. Not "bro it happens all the time bro". Just name two. And also, define "canceled". Because "canceled" doesn't include "they called me mean names and said I was transphobic" because that's just people disagreeing with you.This phantom specter of "cancellation" has been way overblown by right wing media. Because I can think of several very famous, very wealthy, and very popular people who espouse these views (Joe Rogan is one) who haven't been "canceled" at all. The left has vocally disagreed with them, but there's been no cancelation. EDIT: Sorry for splitting this into multiple posts, it was just that long and reddit wouldn't let me post it all in one comment. I was raised Republican/Conservative and Christian. After moving out of my home for a federal job in DC and living on my own in my mid 20s (I was lucky my college and first few jobs were close to home so I could save money), I started learning the left wasn't this great big boogieman I was led to believe. Some of them are still rather bonkers, don't get me wrong, but what group doesn't have those?Now, I'm by no means a Democrat, and I'm still religious, but I wouldn't call myself a Republican anymore either. No, not at all. MOST liberals are normal people who have their own views and beliefs. Just like MOST conservatives do as well. The liberals and conseravtives WE see and hear about are the extremeists - far right and far left - which, because they are the most outspoken and loudest, they are the ones who make the news and are talked about, unfortunately. Most liberals are not "purple haired fat women" or "feminine guys who idk know... lack testostorone?" Just like most conservatives are not "bible thumping racists" or "anti-xyz..."I 10000% guarente that you have made friends with and/or had great conversations with people of the opposite political spectrum and never even knew it.
