Surprisingly the most neurodivergent forum on the web's travel subforum doesn't contain good photographers. This month's topic is trees. Let's take a look from best to worst:
You don't even see the entire tree!
A very tourist-y picture, not horrible but quite average (and also wonky).
These fricking suck. So grey and sad. "From a distance, stark beauty of nature:" shut the frick up.
MattAllegro is a regular contestant and his pictures are normally pretty bad. This is no exception - he didn't even take the picture during the festival, just as it's being loaded onto a truck afterwards.

They would be questionable if it was limited to photos taken that month, but lmao, going through old vacation/travel pics, and the best you can find is that garbage?
The first is the "best" one btw. At least it has a hint of composition and color.

That tree with weird trunk from the set of three has potential, shame about the flat lighting and terrible closeup that cuts off most of it
