I'm turning 40 in a few short weeks and have had a hysterectomy so kids are definitely not happening ever for me - and I'm good with that choice. I'm not particularly maternal though and I don't put much stock into family lineage.

I had something like this happen in a convenience store. This man and woman tore apart my appearance, told me my boob job was botched (I have the breasts I've had my entire life) and that my jaw and hands were a dead give away that I was a man "pretending" to be a woman. The store clerk sees me almost everyday, he knows me and know that I am kind to his staff and other customers and he kicked the couple out of the store. That interaction sent me on a spiral, I started looking at possible surgeries to "fix" my jaw line, breasts and even then thought "well I can't change my hands".

It was like 2 month before my boyfriend was able to help me get out of that spiral
