Man SOCs are getting so fricking good. A few years ago "gaming laptops" were basically a meme - 10 lb bricks with shit battery life and shit performance. Now my macbook is more or less on par with a mid tier gaming PC and you can run pretty much any AAA game on a $600 handheld.
Honestly if I didn't care about VR I'd just sell my desktop and game on my macbook and steam deck.
