It probably is bait but there's enough entitled idiots out there in STEM who really couldn't tell the difference between "collage" and "college" due to not giving a rip about English or the humanities, that I can't completely write it off as fake.
Be a great B-list thriller movie about a serial killer, though: needing the rush of inspiration after a death in the family to continue with his studies, if his family are selfish enough not to die on schedule to help him out, well he'll just have to make it happen!
