The point is that "trust the science" leftoids were literally censoring social media to try to fight this narrative. I'm honestly confused about this. This information is from 2020, and I swear I remember reading another article in nature with more recent information saying that it came from bats based on genomic data.
It's almost like the Chinese government leaned on the international community to accept an explanation that didn't make it their fault.
