I've been waiting for some drama to lead my expose on r/fitnesscirclejerk. It is basically the den that the various fitness related jannies hang out in. It started with this heckin brave post in r/GYM
https://old.reddit.com/r/GYM/comments/sgxvu8/this_counts_as_a_progress_picright/
All of the no-no comments are already gone but the jannie replies from u/just-another-scrub are arguably even funnier
there are more, but they're quite long. A lot of comments about evil white supremacist truckers on his profile recently too.
This leads is to the r/fitnesscirclejerk on the above.
r/fitnesscirclejerk is a bizarre sub where you earn your right to post by submitting a picture of your butt (something we can learn from?). The subreddit used to be a lot more fun when it was smaller 5-8 years ago. People were regularly called strags and told to kill themselves. But somewhere along the way it turned into a b-word fest about fitness related redditers.
EDIT: I feel better now. Please report anything I might have missed.
The in question even shows up
That's it, don't forget to upmarsey so I can lose it all gambling again

Good post. This almost seems like pre-manufactured bait. The thread was a shit show from the start. Rule 2 of gym says "progress pics must include timeframes. No exceptions", so you'd expect the janny to remove it quickly.
Instead the janny decided they'd rather leave it up, grandstand and spend hours cleaning it up...
The janny flips out at someone in the replies to their sticked comment and quotes a bunch of hate speech sometimes without using quotes. I've reported the comment to the chadmins lol.
EDIT: lol r/gym has a rule against "form policing" but literally half the posts are form checks. So you just have to be nice to everyone? "Your form is great! I love how your back arches like a scared cat!".

The one based thing he did was including quotes of the jannied content. Beat of luck on your report

LOL it worked. I agree with you, more jannies should quote comments that they remove. I'm permabanned from r/gym but it was worth it.

I don't know why they even bother banning people who don't post. It's just as much work as making a new account.

In all fairness I had posted a few times and given decent advice. Then I make one comment asking why the jannie didn't clean it up (quite politely) and get insta-banned.
I was trying hard to not get myself banned from any subs on this account and to be a good Redditor but rdrama brings out the worst in me.

I stopped commenting on anything fitness related when i realized 90% of posters were either asking questions already answered in stickies, or they would just ignore actual advice. The remaining 10% of questions were just shit i didnt know.
r/gainit threads about eating bird food, drinking olive oil, or eating stick butter straight will always get my attention thought
