Unironically, other vegans just being cute twinks to me. I created a vegan student group in my freshman year of undergrad. There was this one absolutely insane chick in the group.
She wanted to turn one of the events into some BLM shit, and I told her that was r-slurred.
I said something to the effect of "we should keep this is apolitical as possible, we want everyone to be vegan." She proceeded to sneed and lectured me about my supposed Asian privilege "Asians are privileged."
She went on social media and started calling me an "Asian white supremacist" and that I "endorsed genocide as part of veganism." She ascertained that from a 5 minute conversation where I asked her not to sperg out at the event I'd spent months organizing.
Most of the vegans I've met who are actually in it for animal rights seem more rightoid too. The leftie douchebags are fairweather vegans who see it as a fad diet. It's all anecdotal, but I'm asserting it as fact.
Being a rightoid vegan causes seethe everywhere, so it's the perfect drama promoting position.
